“I’ve worked in two documentaries. The one really close to my heart is ‘Hum Honge Kaamyaab’, a documentary on the freedom struggle. I played the role of Shahid Bhagat Singh and it actually brought out feelings of patriotism in me. I could associate with his pain.”
“Your take on Commercial Cinemas vs Documentaries?”
“To me, commercial cinema is all about ‘No pimple, only dimple’, mere failed attempts of hollywood rip-offs, with a cabaret; whereas documentaries are close to real life, fresh, and original.”
