I’m from Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu but, I was born and brought up in Mumbai.
Ever since I was a kid, I have seen my grandfather and father making authentic, South Indian dishes. I was always amazed at the kind of happiness people felt after having our dishes.
That was one of my main motivations for me to continue in this business. I never took up a job because I had started liking this independent sense of entrepreneurship.
Appam is our speciality and we make it oil free. We made nearly 2000 dosas daily, sometimes more.
I am amused by some well educated looking people but, some certainly don’t behave as one. There have been incidents during busy lunch hours where they just eat the food and walk away without paying. We have to chase them.
